I am Fabian Fuchs. I am currently doing a PhD at the A2I lab under the supervision of Professor Ingmar Posner. My research topic is learning invariant representations. Simply put: whereas most of deep learning is concerned with finding the important information in an input, I care about ignoring parts of the information. This can be important to counteract biases or to better leverage structure in form of invariances in the data.
